1. Acceptance of terms
By creating a Parkitt account or using the Parkitt app, website, or services, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Parkitt.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use Parkitt. Hosts must have the legal right to list and rent out the parking space they offer.
3. Driver obligations
Drivers must provide accurate booking details, park only within the booked space and time, follow the host's access instructions, and leave the space as they found it. You are responsible for your vehicle and for any fines, damage, or losses you cause.
4. Host obligations
Hosts must accurately describe their space, keep it available for confirmed bookings, hold the right to rent it, and maintain a safe, accessible bay. Hosts must complete identity and ownership verification before going live.
5. Fees & payments
Drivers pay the price set by the host for each booking. Parkitt charges hosts a flat platform fee (currently 10%) per booking and remits the balance to the host's wallet. Payments are processed by our payment partners; withdrawals settle to the host's bank account.
6. Cancellations & refunds
Cancellations are governed by the grace window and rules shown at booking. Eligible cancellations are refunded to your original payment method or wallet. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect your access to Parkitt.
7. Disputes & liability cover
If a booking goes wrong, contact support and we will help resolve it fairly using the booking timeline and evidence from both parties. Eligible bookings include liability cover up to the stated limit; cover is subject to conditions and exclusions.
8. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, attempt fraud, abuse other users, or create safety or legal risk. You may close your account at any time, subject to settling any outstanding balances or debts.
9. Limitation of liability
Parkitt is a marketplace connecting drivers and hosts; we are not the owner or operator of listed spaces. To the extent permitted by law, Parkitt is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited as set out here and in the applicable cover terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes that cannot be resolved through support will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State.
